This route is intended for the submission of data definitions that already exist in an electronic non-UML format. When entering data definitions from scratch, the preferred mechanism is to use UML and to supply XMI directly to the registry.

XML Schemas should be submitted in their entirety to helpdesk.itg@mottmac.com.

When submitting and XML Schema, please include the following information with your submission:

• Submitter contact name
• Submitter organisation name
• Submitter phone

Once your submission is recieved, the XML Schema(s) will be converted into UML before being imported into the data registry. More information on the XML Schema-to-UML mapping and its effect on the model constructs can be found here.

Your submission will initially be assigned "Draft" status. It will then be processed and included in the next update of the registry web site. After registration you may decide to attempt to progress the status of your submission, but this is entirely optional: making the initial submission does not commit you to any further involvement.
