How to Navigate Registry Content

There are three ways to browse the data definitions within the registry:

General Navigation Pointers

The following navigation pointers apply to all navigation styles, although how that information is accessed may differ slightly.

Useful Registry Indexes

There are several useful indexes underneath the top level "Registry" package. They are:

Core Components A collection of standardised (harmonised) model components. This index is experimental and only partially populated.
Functional Index A list of ITS functions. This index is experimental and only partially populated.
Registered Items Access all registered items by status level (Card | Draft | Recorded | Qualified | Preferred).
Subject Matter Index Provides a classification of model elements based on the real world concept being modelled.
System Interface Index Acts as a constant access point for a Directory Service. Lists each model, a platform specific mapping document (if available), and a class diagram provides links to the model specifics.

Also available under the top level "Registry" package is the registry diagram. This is a graphical entry point into the registry data content.

Diagram Navigation

Within the main pane, you can navigate from diagrams to the tabular views by clicking on particular classes or other modelling elements in the diagrams.

Model Hyperlink Options

At the top of the main pane (on the right of the screen) are various hyperlink options.

View options These allow the Browser part of the navigation to be configured and access to a dictionary of ALL registered items.
Model If main pane is displaying registered model element then this link states the name of the model the element belongs to. Clicking on the link navigates to the top package for the model.
