The following caveats explain why Recommended models have not yet achieved Preferred
status.
Issues found with the previous version of DATEX II model prevented the model progressing beyond the Recorded status level.
Initial analysis of the current version indicates that the majority of these issues have been resolved, but a complete review
for Preferred status level has not yet been carried out.
A spreadsheet of various issues with the UTMC model has been supplied to the UTMC secretariat.
Some of these issues prevent the model from progressing beyond the Recorded status level.
URNM provides the recommended *starting point* for a detailed network model definition.
It will require some refinement for operational use.
